Geetha Rao is an experienced entrepreneur, executive, and strategic advisor to medical device and healthcare organizations. Through her company, Springborne Life Sciences, Geetha advises Hayden Group med device and healthcare clients. She is especially helpful to startups with issues for high-risk technologies. She is an internationally recognized expert in risk management and served on several international policy making bodies. She has served on the faculty of FutureMed at Singularity University, Stanford University’s Biodesign Innovation Program, and on University of Chicago’s Innovation Network for the Physical Sciences Division. She was a contributor on the 2013 World Economic Forum research project on Sustainable Health Systems, a TEDMED scholar, and has addressed numerous industry forums and the press. Geetha holds a doctorate from MIT and a masters from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Geetha lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California and travels extensively.
